THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  FAYETTE

* UNTIL 1000 PM CST

* AT 831 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED NUMEROUS 
  THUNDERSTORMS...WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH
  ACROSS MUCH OF FAYETTE COUNTY. THESE THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE TO 
  REDEVELOP AND MOVE OVER THE SAME AREAS BUT WILL SLOWLY SHIFT EAST
  DURING THE NEXT HOUR. 

DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES AS UP TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN MAY HAVE FALLEN 
OVER EASTERN FAYETTE COUNTY SINCE EARLY TODAY. LAW ENFORCEMENT HAS 
REPORTED NUMEROUS ROAD CLOSURES DUE TO FLOODING OVER MUCH OF FAYETTE 
COUNTY.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE 
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
