THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS EXTENDED THE

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  MEDINA
  UVALDE

* UNTIL 415 PM CDT

AT 200 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY 
RAIN FALLING OVER MEDINA COUNTY EXTENDING FROM CASTROVILLE TO 
DEVINE. HEAVY RAIN WAS ALSO MOVING NORTH AT 20 MPH INTO THE CITIES 
OF UVALDE AND KNIPPA IN UVALDE COUNTY. RAINFALL RATES OF ONE HALF TO 
ONE INCH PER HOUR WILL OCCUR OVER THE NEXT TWO HOURS. COOP REPORTS 
AND DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT FOUR TO AS MUCH AS NINE INCHES OF 
RAIN HAVE FALLEN SINCE VERY EARLY THIS MORNING. THIS IS A LIFE 
THREATENING SITUATION. 

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
