* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  WHITESIDE COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ILLINOIS

* UNTIL 800 AM CDT

* AT 702 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WITH LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS 10 MILES
  WEST OF MORRISON...OR 3 MILES SOUTH OF FULTON...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT
  35 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS EXPECTED TO BE NEAR...
   MORRISON BY 715 AM CDT.
   LYNDON BY 725 AM CDT.

THIS STORM HAS A HISTORY OF PRODUCING LARGE HAIL AND WINDS IN EXCESS
OF 55 MPH.  AT 655 AM...WINDS OF 56 MPH AND QUARTER SIZED HAIL WAS
REPORTED IN CLINTON.

THIS SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL UP TO 1 INCH IN
DIAMETER AND WINDS IN EXCESS OF 55 MPH. TAKE COVER IN A STURDY
STRUCTURE UNTIL THE STORM PASSES.
