THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  ELLIS COUNTY IN CENTRAL KANSAS
  RUSH COUNTY IN CENTRAL KANSAS
  NESS COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL KANSAS

* UNTIL 1015 PM CDT

* AT 713 PM CDT THE PUBLIC REPORTED A TRIBUTARY OF SNAKE CREEK OUT OF
  ITS BANKS 7 MILES NORTH OF MCCRACKEN AND WAS RUNNING OVER A RURAL ROAD.

THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE TO TRAIN OVER THE AREA FROM 10 MILES NORTH
EAST OF NESS CITY TO NEAR HAYS THROUGH 9 PM.  RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO 4
INCHES HAS ALREADY BEEN REPORTED IN THIS AREA. ADDITIONAL PONDING OF
WATER ON ROADWAYS AND FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS WILL BE LIKELY.

IF YOU WITNESS RISING WATER, MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND  DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD AS YOUR VEHICLE MAY BE
SWEPT OFF THE ROAD EVEN IN WHERE WATER DEPTH MY BE LESS THAN 18 INCHES.
