THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN STATE COLLEGE PA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LEBANON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA

* UNTIL 400 PM EDT.

* AT 100 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL.

SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE 
WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING. HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE ACROSS LEBANON COUNTY UNTIL 2 
PM...AND THEN BEGIN TO TAPER OFF. MOST AREAS WILL SEE AN ADDITIONAL 
1 INCH OF RAIN BETWEEN 1 AND 2 PM...CAUSING ANY MINOR FLOODING TO 
BECOME MORE SIGNIFICANT. 

SMALLER STREAMS AND TRIBUTARIES NEAR SWATARA CREEK WILL BE MOST 
SUSCEPTIBLE TO FLOODING INCLUDING LITTLE SWATARA CREEK...SNITZ CREEK 
AND BECK CREEK. THE TOWN OF JONESTOWN CAN ALSO EXPECT FLOODING. 

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
