THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBIA HAS ISSUED A
* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
LEE COUNTY IN CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA
* UNTIL 1000 AM EDT.
* AT 700 AM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
A LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS MOVING THROUGH LEE COUNTY. THESE STORMS
ARE PRODUCING HEAVY RAIN IN NORTHERN LEE COUNTY. IN ADDITION...RAINFALL
AMOUNTS OF 3 TO 4 INCHES FELL IN KERSHAW COUNTY DURING THE PAST
SIX HOURS. RUNOFF FROM THIS HEAVY RAIN WILL FLOOD THE LYNCHES RIVER.
HIGHWAY 14 HAS 4 TO 6 INCHES OF WATER ON THE ROAD AND THERE ARE
SEVERAL STALLED CARS. FLOODING ACROSS A LARGE PORTION OF LEE COUNTY
IS EXPECTED TO WORSEN DURING THE NEXT FEW HOURS.
A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
