* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY IN SOUTHERN NEW HAMPSHIRE 

* UNTIL 930 PM EDT

* AT 536 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY 
  HEAVY RAIN ACROSS PORTIONS OF HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY.  

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WHICH BROUGHT TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS THIS
EVENING ACROSS NORTHWESTERN MASSACHUSETTS AND HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY
NEW HAMPSHIRE HAVE MOVED OUTSIDE OF SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND. RAINFALL
TOTALS GIVEN BY SPOTTERS AND RADAR ESTIMATES...LOCALLY RANGED AS 
HIGH AS 2.5 TO 3.5 INCHES ACROSS PORTIONS OF WESTERN HAMPSHIRE 
COUNTY...FROM PLAINFIELD TO CUMMINGTON AND CENTRAL HILLSBOROUGH 
COUNTY NEAR MONT VERNON. CONFIRMED ROAD CLOSURES WERE NOTED IN
WESTERN HAMPSHIRE COUNTY BETWEEN 430 PM AND 730 PM THIS EVENING.

SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED FOR THE REMAINDER 
OF TONIGHT AND ONCE AGAIN ON TUESDAY. HOWEVER THE THREAT FOR IMMINENT
FLOODING HAS CURRENTLY EXPIRED.
