EAST CENTRAL MORGAN COUNTY IN NORTHEAST COLORADO * UNTIL 1000 PM MDT * AT 737 PM MDT...THE MORGAN COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED FLASH FLOODING IN THE BRUSH...OR ABOUT 8 MILES EAST OF FORT MORGAN. WATER WAS ALSO REPORTED OVER THE ROAD AT HIGHWAY 71 AND COUNTY ROAD R JUST EAST OF BRUSH. THE STORM PRODUCING THE HEAVY RAIN WAS LOCATED JUST EAST AND SOUTH OF BRUSH AND WAS MOVING EAST AT 10 MPH. LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE...BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO...BRUSH... HILLROSE AND SNYDER. A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY. RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK HIGHER GROUND.
