THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ALBANY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN BERKSHIRE COUNTY IN WESTERN MASSACHUSETTS

* UNTIL 830 PM EDT

* AT 423 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY 
RAIN IN SOUTHEASTERN BERKSHIRE COUNTY TRAINING ALONG THE EASTERN 
SLOPES OF THE BERKSHIRES.  THE THUNDERSTORMS THAT ARE PRODUCING THE 
HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE OVER THIS SAME AREA THROUGH 6 PM.

* LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE...BECKET...MONTEREY...OTIS AND
  SANDISFIELD

THE FOLLOWING STREAMS WILL OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS...DIMMOCK 
BROOK...AND WALKER BROOK DUE TO THE HEAVY RAINFALL.  RAINFALL 
AMOUNTS WILL EXCEED 4 INCHES IN SOME LOCALES CAUSING ROAD WASH OUTS.

SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY
AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK
HIGHER GROUND.

VERY HEAVY RAIN FELL ACROSS THE SOUTHEAST PORTION OF THE COUNTY THIS 
AFTERNOON AND EARLY EVENING WITH LOCALIZED FLOODING REPORTED IN 
BECKET.  RAIN HAS ENDED AND CONDITIONS WILL CONTINUE TO IMPROVE.
