THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN PIMA COUNTY IN ARIZONA
    THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF GREEN VALLEY

* UNTIL 900 PM MST

* AT 710 PM MST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED MODERATE   
  TO HEAVY RAIN PERSISTING NEAR GREEN VALLEY...MOVING NORTHEAST AT   
  15 MPH. 

ALTHOUGH ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL BE LIGHT THROUGH 9 PM...THE 
PIMA COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT REPORTED THAT NUMEROUS ROADS WERE 
STILL FLOODED IN AND AROUND GREEN VALLEY. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES 
THAT 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN FELL BETWEEN GREEN VALLEY AND SAHUARITA 
EARLIER THIS AFTERNOON. 

FLASH FLOODING IS PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS AT NIGHT BECAUSE IT IS VERY
HARD TO SEE RISING WATER. IF WATER COVERS THE ROAD...TURN AROUND AND
TAKE ANOTHER ROUTE.
