THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
  MADISON COUNTY IN NORTHWEST ARKANSAS

* UNTIL 1000 PM CST

* AT 738 PM CST...RADAR INDICATED AN AREA OF HEAVY RAIN ACROSS MUCH  
  OF MADISON COUNTY...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH. FLOODING CONTINUES 
  ON COUNTY ROADS IN SOUTHERN MADISON COUNTY.

  RADAR INDICATES THAT 3 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN OVER 
  THE WARNED AREA. ANOTHER INCH WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 1000 PM CST.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL CONTINUE TO BE AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN
  INCLUDE HUNTSVILLE...ST PAUL...PETTIGREW...AURORA...KINGSTON...
  HINDSVILLE...FORUM...BOSTON...WITTER...JAPTON...MARBLE AND CLIFTY.

SIGNIFICANT FLOODING HAS OCCURRED IN OTHER PARTS OF THE AREA...THIS 
IS A DANGEROUS SITUATION...AND RESIDENTS SHOULD CLOSELY MONITOR THE 
LATEST WEATHER AND FLOODING INFORMATION.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS. CAMPERS SHOULD AVOID
CAMPING ALONG STREAMS OR CREEKS DURING THREATENING RAINS.
