THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WESTERN TUOLUMNE COUNTY IN CALIFORNIA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF SONORA

* UNTIL 300 AM PST

* HEAVY RAINFALL HAS OCCURRED IN WESTERN TUOLUMNE COUNTY SINCE       
  FRIDAY AFTERNOON AND HAS CAUSED EXTENSIVE FLOODING IN AND AROUND   
  THE SONORA AREA. THE SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT HAS REPORTED 3 FEET OF   
  WATER IN THE BASEMENT OF THE TUOLUMNE GENERAL HOSPITAL AND MANY     
  ROADS ARE INUNDATED WITH SEVERAL FEET OF WATER. LOCALLY HEAVY 
  RAINFALL IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE OVER THE AREA UNTIL MIDNIGHT. 

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. OBEY EVACUATION INSTRUCTIONS FROM LAW 
ENFORCEMNT.
