PHELPS COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI * UNTIL MIDNIGHT * AT 616 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN OVER CENTRAL PHELPS COUNTY NEAR THE ROLLA AREA. * THUNDERSTORMS WILL PRODUCE TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING TO OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...ROLLA...ST. JAMES...NEWBURG AND DOOLITTLE.
