THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  DOUGLAS COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI

* UNTIL 730 PM CST

* AT 203 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
  EXCESSIVE RAINFALL 12 MILES WEST OF WILLOW SPRINGS...OR 24 MILES   
  NORTHWEST OF WEST PLAINS...MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.

* EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WAS CAUSING FLASH FLOODING IN AVA ON HIGHWAYS   
  FF AND Y.  ALSO MANY LOW WATER BRIDGES WERE FLOODED IN THE AVA     
  AREA.

ADDITIONAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF ONE INCH ARE POSSIBLE IN THE WARNED 
AREA.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS 
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
