THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BENTON COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSOURI
  MORGAN COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 1230 PM CDT

* AT 620 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS THE WARNED AREA.   
  DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED AROUND ONE INCH OF RAIN HAD FALLEN SINCE 5 
  AM ACROSS PORTIONS OF THE WARNED AREA. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS 
  WILL MOVE ACROSS THE SAME AREA THAT ALREADY RECEIVED EXCESSIVE 
  RAINFALL.

* THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE WARNED 
  AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH   
  FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS...COUNTY ROADS...AND LOW WATER
  CROSSINGS.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND ALONG THE
BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.
