* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  STOREY COUNTY IN WESTERN NEVADA
  SOUTHEAST WASHOE COUNTY IN WESTERN NEVADA

* UNTIL 645 PM PDT

* AT 545 PM PDT...SPOTTER REPORTS AND WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR 
INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER THE VIRGINIA FOOTHILLS DURING THE 
PAST HOUR...WITH AMOUNTS IN EXCESS OF 2 INCHES POSSIBLE. 

* THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE WEAKENING AT 545 PM...BUT RUNOFF FROM 
EARLIER STORMS MAY PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING ACROSS ROADWAYS AND LOW 
LYING AREAS FOR THE NEXT HOUR OR SO.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. 
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS AND THE GEIGER GRADE 
SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO 
NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN 
DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT 
IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK HIGHER GROUND.
