THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN RALEIGH HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WESTERN EDGECOMBE COUNTY IN CENTRAL NORTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 1230 PM EDT

* AT 1126 AM EDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED    
  VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER THE WARNED AREA. LOCATIONS BETWEEN BATTLEBORO 
  AND LEGGETT WILL BE AFFECTED. SOME CREEKS THAT MAY FLOOD INCLUDE   
  SWIFT CREEK AND MOCCASIN CREEK.

* SHOWERS ARE CONTINUOUSLY REDEVELOPING OVER THE WARNED AREA...      
  RESULTING IN EXCESSIVE RAINFALL.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
