  SCOTLAND COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA.

A NEARLY STATIONARY THUNDERSTORM ROUGHLY SIX MILES NORTH OF 
LAURINBURG ALONG US HIGHWAY 15/501 IS PRODUCING HEAVY RAINFALL...AS 
MUCH OF ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN PER HOUR. THIS STORM IS SHOWING 
LITTLE MOVEMENT. SOME LOCAL FLOODING WITH THIS STORM IS LIKELY. 
TRAVELERS SHOULD AVOID THIS AREA OVER THE NEXT HOUR IF POSSIBLE.
