THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHOENIX HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  SOUTH CENTRAL GILA COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL ARIZONA
  NORTH CENTRAL PINAL COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL ARIZONA

* UNTIL 445 PM MST

* AT 4 PM MST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
  AN AREA OF STRONG TO SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS CENTERED 5 MILES         
  SOUTHWEST OF GLOBE. THE AREA WAS MOVING SOUTHWEST AT 15 MPH...AND  
  WILL AFFECT THE AREA OVER AND SOUTH OF STATE ROUTE 60 FROM GLOBE   
  TO SUPERIOR.

DAMAGING MICROBURST WINDS ARE LIKELY WITH THIS STORM. VERY HEAVY RAIN
IS ALSO POSSIBLE. TAKE COVER IN A SUBSTANTIAL SHELTER UNTIL THE STORM
PASSES. INTENSE LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM...MOVE 
INDOORS IF POSSIBLE.
