THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PHOENIX HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  EXTREME SOUTH CENTRAL GILA COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL ARIZONA

* UNTIL 530 PM MST

* AT 445 PM MST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM 10 MILES NORTHEAST OF HAYDEN...OR ABOUT 19   
MILES SOUTH OF GLOBE...MOVING WEST AT 15 MPH. THE TOWNS OF 
CHRISTMAS...WINKLEMAN...AND HAYDEN WILL BE AFFECTED BY THIS STORM 
ALONG WITH PORTIONS OF HIGHWAY 77 IN SOUTHERN GILA COUNTY.

THIS STORM WILL PRODUCE WINDS OF 60 MPH OR GREATER. THIS STORM CAN 
ALSO PRODUCE LARGE HAIL...FREQUENT LIGHTNING...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. 
IF YOU ARE NEAR THIS STORM...TAKE SHELTER IN A STURDY BUILDING AND 
STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. ALSO...STAY AWAY FROM WASHES...CREEK BEDS 
AND OTHER FLOOD-PRONE AREAS.
