THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MOUNT HOLLY NJ HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EASTERN SUSSEX COUNTY IN SOUTHERN DELAWARE

* UNTIL 400 PM EDT.

* AT 222 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED..

RADAR INDICATES THAT OVER FOUR INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THE
BEACH AREAS OF SUSSEX COUNTY SOUTH OF INDIAN RIVER INLET. 

THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING VERY SLOWLY. A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM
WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 PM.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE
YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER
DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES
CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND.

INTENSE LIGHTNING IS ALSO OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM. MOVE INDOORS IF
POSSIBLE. WHEN INDOORS...STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS AND DOORS AND AVOID
USING TELEPHONES UNLESS IT IS AN EMERGENCY. IF OUTDOORS...STAY AWAY
