OVER THIS AREA THROUGH MUCH OF THE AFTERNOON AND WORSEN THE FLASH
FLOOD SITUATION THAT ALREADY EXISTS.

THIS EXTENDS THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING THAT WAS ALREADY IN EFFECT
FOR THESE SAME COUNTIES EARLIER THIS MORNING.

A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IMMINENT. MOST
FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS BRIDGES,
DIPS, OR OTHER LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROAD. NEVER TRY TO CROSS
A FLOWING STREAM, EVEN A SMALL ONE, ON FOOT. TO ESCAPE RISING WATER,
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

THE WARNING COVERS AREA ALONG AND SOUTH OF A LINE FROM
WAYNESBORO...TO COLUMBIA...TO MURFREESBORO...TO MOUNT JULIET
...TO COOKEVILLE AND CROSSIVLLE

AT 2 PM...SCATTERED TO NUMEROUS SHOWERS...SOME WITH HEAVY
RAIN...CONTINUED OVER THE WARNING AREA. THERE HAVE BEEN
NUMEROUS REPORTS OF FLASH FLOODING TODAY AND ANY ADDITIONAL
HEAVY RAINS WILL ONLY WORSEN THE SITUATION.
