THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  GEORGE AND STONE COUNTIES IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI
  MOBILE COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST ALABAMA

* UNTIL 1215 PM CST

* AT 805 AM CST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES THAT 
BETWEEN 3 AND 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER A LARGE PART OF 
MOBILE COUNTY ALABAMA AND PORTIONS OF STONE AND GEORGE COUNTIES OF 
MISSISSIPPI.  CREEKS AND STREAMS ARE NEAR OR ABOVE BANKFUL AND A 
GENERAL INUNDATION OF WATER IS REPORTED THROUGOUT MOST OF THE REGION.

UP TO AN ADDITIONAL 1.5 INCHES OF RAIN COULD FALL THROUGH MID 
MORNING.  ALTHOUGH RAINFALL RATES WILL NOT BE AS MUCH AS 2 INCHES 
PER HOUR ANY LONGER...CERTAINLY AN INCH AN HOUR IS NOT OUT OF THE 
QUESTION.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. 
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
