THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MELBOURNE HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CENTRAL ORANGE COUNTY
  EASTERN SEMINOLE COUNTY
  IN EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA

* UNTIL 630 PM EDT

* AT 540 PM EDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED STORMS PRODUCING 
  VERY HEAVY RAIN DRIFTING SLOWLY NORTH THROUGH ORANGE AND 
  SEMINOLE COUNTIES. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THREE TO FOUR
  INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN IN SPOTS BETWEEN UNION PARK AND  
  OVIEDO...AND RECENT HEAVY RAINS HAVE LEFT THE GROUND SATURATED.
  OVIEDO POLICE DEPARTMENT REPORTED ROAD CLOSURES IN EASTERN SIDE OF 
  OVIEDO DUE TO THE HEAVY RAINS...AND WATER APPROACHING HOUSES IN
  THE RIVERSIDE SUBDIVISION. 

* THE STORMS WILL DRIFT SLOWLY NORTH THROUGH 630 PM. AREAS FROM UNION
  PARK AND OVIEDO WILL CONTINUE TO BE ESPECIALLY SUSCEPTIBLE TO THE 
  FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

A FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. IF YOU
ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY. RESIDENTS

PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS SWIFTLY FLOWING
WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR
VEHICLE STALLS, ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK HIGHER GROUND.
