THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SULLIVAN HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  IOWA COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN
  SAUK COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN
  
* UNTIL 300 AM CDT

* AT 1259 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED   
  TO INDICATE THUNDERSTORMS REDEVELOPING OVER IOWA AND SAUK COUNTIES. 
  VERY HEAVY RAIN WAS OCCURRING OVER MUCH OF THE WARNING AREA.

* WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES ARE THAT 2 TO 4 INCHES
  OF RAINFALL FELL DURING THE PAST 3 HOURS OVER SOUTHERN SAUK AND 
  NORTHERN IOWA COUNTIES. THIS RAIN...AND THE ADDITIONAL EXPECTED...WILL 
  CAUSE LOCAL STREAMS AND RIVERS TO RISE RAPIDLY AND OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS.
  MOTORISTS ON HIGHWAYS 60...14 AND 23 IN SOUTHERN SAUK AND NORTHERN IOWA 
  COUNTIES SHOULD USE EXTREME CAUTION AND SLOW DOWN.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...NORMALLY DRY WASHES AND
ARROYOS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.
