LAFAYETTE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF DARLINGTON * UNTIL 700 AM CDT * AT 402 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN WAS OCCURRING OVER MUCH OF THE WARNING AREA. * WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES ARE THAT 1 TO 1 1/2 INCHES OF RAIN FELL DURING THE PAST HOUR. THIS RAIN ON TOP OF WHAT HAS ALREADY FALLEN...AND THE ADDITIONAL EXPECTED...WILL CAUSE SMALLER STREAMS AND RIVERS TO RISE RAPIDLY AND OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS. THE HEAVIEST RAIN HAS OCCURRED JUST EAST OF CUBA CITY AND HAZEL GREEN OVER TO BENTON...SHULLSBURG AND GRATIOT.
