THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIAMI HAS ISSUED A

* FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EASTERN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST FLORIDA

* UNTIL 915 AM EDT

* AT 718 AM EDT...THE PUBLIC AND DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY
  HEAVY RAIN OVER EASTERN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY. RAINFALL AMOUNTS
  OF 2 INCHES HAS BEEN REPORTED IN THE MIAMI SPRINGS AREA.

THE AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS THAT ARE PRODUCING THE HEAVY 
RAINS ARE MOVING VERY SLOWLY TOWARD THE NORTHWEST AND EXTENDS OUT 
INTO THE ATLANTIC. THIS SLOW MOVEMENT COULD RESULT IN FLOODING FROM 
THE NORTHEAST CORNER OF THE COUNTY SOUTH TO NORTH OF HOMESTEAD.


DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER MAY OBSCURE DEEP CANALS OR PONDS.
