THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN MIAMI HAS CONTINUED THE

* FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHEASTERN BROWARD COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST FLORIDA

* UNTIL 100 AM EDT

* AT 1020 PM EDT...ALTHOUGH THE RAINS HAVE ENDED OVER NORTHEAST       
  BROWARD COUNTY...FLOODING CONTINUES FROM THE EARLIER HEAVY
  RAINS. NO ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED THROUGH AT         
  LEAST 2 AM. LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS IN OAKLAND PARK
  REPORTED NO CHANGE IN THE WATER LEVELS WEST OF INTERSTATE 95 
  AND NEAR WEST OAKLAND PARK BOULEVARD. SEVERAL INTERSECTIONS
  REMAIN CLOSED IN THIS AREA... WITH FLOOD WATERS SPILLING
  INTO HOMES AND BUSINESSES. IT WILL TAKE SEVERAL MORE HOURS
  FOR THE FLOODING TO RECEDE.
 
DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE THROUGH AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY ESPECIALLY AT NIGHT. THE WATER MAY OBSCURE DEEP CANALS OR 
PONDS.
