* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  CLINTON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS
  MARION COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS
  WASHINGTON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL ILLINOIS

* UNTIL 400 PM CST

* AT 1210 PM CST...WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED FLASH FLOODING ALONG 
HIGHWAY 50 NEAR CARLYLE.  

AT 1210 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF 
THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN ACROSS THE REGION.  THE LINE WAS NEAR 
KINMUNDY TO SHATTUC TO STONE CHURCH.  THE THUNDERSTORMS WERE MOVING 
TO THE NORTHEAST AROUND 45 MPH AND WILL BE TRAINING ACROSS THE SAME 
REGION.  FLASH FLOODING IS EXPECTED DUE TO A WET GROUND. 

IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED OR IMMINENT...MOVE QUICKLY TO HIGHER
GROUND. NEVER DRIVE INTO AN AREA WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.

MOST DEATHS IN FLASH FLOODING OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW WATER CROSSINGS IF WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. DO NOT DRIVE AROUND BARRICADES IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS...
