THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN OXNARD HAS EXTENDED THE

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING UNTIL 5 PM FOR CENTRAL VENTURA COUNTY...
ALONG HIGHWAY 118 BETWEEN SATICOY AND MOORPARK. 

* AT 355 PM PST...SULPHUR MOUNTAIN RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF HEAVY 
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS DRIFTING TOWARD HIGHWAY 118 FROM THE 
NORTH. DOPPLER RADAR HAS ESTIMATED RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES 
PER HOUR. THIS RAIN WILL LIKELY CAUSE STREET FLOODING AND OVERFLOW OF
SMALL STREAMS. HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE UNTIL SUNDOWN.

* LOCATIONS LIKELY TO EXPERIENCE FLASH FLOODING INCLUDE 
MOORPARK...SOMIS... AND SATICOY...ALONG HIGHWAY 118.
