THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BOURBON COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL KENTUCKY
  HARRISON COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL KENTUCKY
  NICHOLAS COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL KENTUCKY

* UNTIL 1100 PM EST

* AT 810 PM EST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY      
  RAIN FROM CYNTHIANA AND CARISLE...DOWN TO PARIS.  ONE AND ONE    
  HALF INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN...WITH ANOTHER ONE HALF
  TO ONE INCH EXPECTED FOR THE REMAINDER OF THE EVENING. THE NEW
  RAINFALL WILL LIKELY INITIATE FLOODING THE NEXT FEW HOURS.
  MEANWHILE...THE BACK EDGE OF THE HEAVY RAIN SHOULD THEN PUSH
  THROUGH THE REGION BY 11 PM EST.

* SOME LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE CARLISLE...CYNTHIANA AND
  PARIS

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE

ROADWAYS...IT MAY BE DIFFICULT TO JUDGE THE ACTUAL DEPTH OF THE
WATER. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
