* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN JEFFERSON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL INDIANA

* UNTIL 830 PM EST

* AT 620 PM EST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED VERY      
  HEAVY RAINFALL OVER DEPUTY...OR ABOUT 39 MILES NORTH OF 
LOUISVILLE. 

WEATHER SPOTTERS HAVE REPORTED MINOR FLOODING OF COUNTY ROADS NEAR 
DEPUTY. NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATES 2 TO 3 INCHES OF 
RAIN HAVE FALLEN AROUND DEPUTY...AND EAST TO NEAR LANCASTER...SINCE 
400 PM EST. MORE HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED OVER THE NEXT 2 HOURS AS 
ADDITIONAL SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS MOVE INTO NORTHWEST JEFFERSON 
COUNTY. 

EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND 
STREAMS...ROADWAYS...UNDERPASSESS AND LOW LYING AREAS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
