THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NEW ORLEANS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  ST. BERNARD PARISH IN SOUTHEAST LOUISIANA
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF CHALMETTE

* UNTIL 1030 PM CDT

* AT 812 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY       
  HEAVY RAIN OVER CHALMETTE AND ARABI. RADAR ESTIMATES WERE AROUND 4 
  INCHES IN AN HOUR FROM 7 TO 8 PM CDT. THE AREA OF HEAVY RAIN       
  WAS NEARLY STATIONARY. 

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND.
