THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LAKE CHARLES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EVANGELINE PARISH IN CENTRAL LOUISIANA

* UNTIL 400 PM CDT

* AT 1255 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED  
  THAT 4 TO 5 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN ACROSS SOUTHERN EVANGELINE
  PARISH DURING THE PAST 2 HOURS. 3 TO 4 INCHES OF ADDITIONAL        
  RAINFALL IS EXPECTED IN THE WARNED AREA THROUGH 4 PM.

DURING HEAVY RAINS...STAY AWAY FROM DRAINAGE DITCHES...BAYOUS AND
CREEKS. THEY ARE PRONE TO RAPID RISES AND MAY FLOOD THE AREA QUICKLY.
