  MOREHOUSE PARISH IN NORTHEAST LOUISIANA
  WEST CARROLL PARISH IN NORTHEAST LOUISIANA
  EAST CARROLL PARISH IN NORTHEAST LOUISIANA

* UNTIL 630 PM CDT

* AT 421 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER  
  OF THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER SOUTHERN           
  MOREHOUSE...SOUTHERN WEST CARROLL AND EAST CARROLL PARISHES.       
  THESE STORMS ARE NEARLY STATIONARY...AND ARE EXPECTED TO REMAIN    
  OVER THE SAME AREAS THROUGH 6 PM.

RADAR ESTIMATED RAINFALL AMOUNTS RANGING FROM NEAR THREE INCHES IN 
SOUTHERN MOREHOUSE PARISH...TO ONE INCH IN SOUTHERN WEST CARROLL AND 
EAST CARROLL PARISHES.  LAKE PROVIDENCE REPORTED 2.98 INCHES IN ONE 
HOUR.

VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER
LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.
