THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  TENSAS PARISH IN NORTHEAST LOUISIANA
  CONCORDIA PARISH IN NORTHEAST LOUISIANA

* UNTIL 815 PM CST

* AT 614 PM CST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY...MOVING REPEATEDLY OVER THE SAME 
AREA...FROM NEAR FROGMORE TO WATERPROOF TO SAINT JOSEPH. RADAR 
ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT UP TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER 
THIS AREA SINCE 5 PM...AND AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES IS 
LIKELY. THIS WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.

MOST DEATHS IN FLASH FLOODING OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS BRIDGES...DIPS...OR LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
