LABETTE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS * UNTIL 715 AM CDT * AT 110 AM CDT...LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED THAT HIGHWAY 101 IS CLOSED DUE TO WATER OVER THE ROADWAY. IN ADDITION...SEVERAL LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND GRAVEL COVERED ROADS ARE UNDER WATER. DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT THE RAIN WILL BE COMING TO AN END OVER THE NEXT FEW HOURS. HOWEVER...RUNOFF FROM PREVIOUS HEAVY RAINS WILL CONTINUE TO CAUSE PROBLEMS. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT...WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS.
