THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN FORT WORTH HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  GRAYSON COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL TEXAS

* UNTIL 11 PM CST.

* AT 658 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR DETECTED 
VERY HEAVY RAIN BETWEEN TIOGA...SHERMAN...AND DENISON.  OVER ONE 
INCH OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN OVER THE WESTERN HALF OF THE COUNTY 
AND LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED OVERFLOWING DITCHES AND 
SWOLLEN CREEKS NEAR SHERMAN. 

AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN CAN BE EXPECTED THIS EVENING 
AS THUNDERSTORMS SPREAD NORTHWARD ACROSS THE SAME AREA. 

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE 
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
