THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  KARNES

* UNTIL 830 PM CDT

* AT 725 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN
  OVER PORTIONS OF KARNES COUNTY SOUTH OF RUNGE AND KENEDY...
  MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH.  KARNES COUNTY SHERIFF REPORTED 4 INCHES OF 
  RAIN ON HIGHWAY 181 BETWEEN KENEDY AND THE BEE COUNTY LINE.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...COUNTRY ROADS...NORMALLY DRY WASHES AND
ARROYOS...AS WELL AS FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
