THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  UVALDE

* UNTIL 100 AM CDT

* AT 1110 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
  THUNDERSTORMS...WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL RATES OF 2 INCHES 
  PER HOUR...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH ACROSS WESTERN UVALDE 
  COUNTY. 

HEAVY RAINS OF 2 TO 3 INCHES HAVE ALREADY FALLEN ACROSS WESTERN 
PORTIONS OF UVALDE COUNTY DUE TO A NEARLY STATIONARY COMPLEX OF 
THUNDERSTORMS. WITH AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN EXPECTED 
OVER UVALDE COUNTY...THESE HEAVY RAINS WILL LIKELY PRODUCE FLASH 
FLOODING OF CREEKS AND STREAMS OVER THE WESTERN HALF OF UVALDE 
COUNTY. EXPECT FLOODING OF LOW WATER CROSSINGS ALONG HWY 55 AND 
FM 334.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
