THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AUSTIN SAN ANTONIO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR THE FOLLOWING COUNTIES...
  EDWARDS
  VAL VERDE

* UNTIL 345 AM CDT

* AT 1242 AM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY
  RAIN 12 MILES WEST OF ROCKSPRINGS...OR ABOUT 39 MILES SOUTH OF
  SONORA...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 20 MPH.  THE HEAVY RAIN WAS ALSO
  OCCURING FROM LOMA ALTA TO JUST NORTH OF DEL RIO.  RAINFALL 
  RATES ARE ESTIMATED AT 2 INCHES AN HOUR IN THE HEAVIER STORMS. 

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
