BURNET LLANO TRAVIS GILLESPIE BLANCO HAYS KERR KENDALL COMAL BANDERA * UNTIL 10 PM CDT * AT 6 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN ASSOCIATED WITH NUMEROUS SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXTENDING OVER MUCH OF THE TEXAS HILL COUNTRY. THE AREA MOST AFFECTED IS FROM AUSTIN AND CANYON LAKE WESTWARD TO KERRVILLE AND FREDERICKSBURG AND NORTHWARD TO LLANO AND BURNET. THERE WAS LITTLE MOVEMENT TO MANY OF THESE STORMS. SINCE THE GROUND IS SUPER-SATURATED FROM PRIOR DELUGES...AND BECAUSE MANY HILL COUNTRY CREEKS AND RIVERS ARE WELL ABOVE FLOOD STAGE...ANY ADDITIONAL RUNOFF FROM THESE RAINS WILL NOT SOAK IN BUT ADD TO THE ALREADY DANGEROUS RIVER LEVELS. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH IS IN EFFECT FOR THE TEXAS HILL COUNTRY AND ADJACENT EDWARDS PLATEAU TONIGHT. THIS REMAINS A VERY DANGEROUS AND LIFE-THREATENING WEATHER SITUATION.
