THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PLEASANT HILL HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MACON COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 845 PM CDT

* AT 439 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
  AN EAST TO WEST ORIENTED LINE OF THUNDERSTORMS FROM NEAR 
  BROOKFIELD TO NEW CAMBRIA.  THESE STORMS WILL MOVE ACROSS THE SAME 
  AREAS AND PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL IN SOUTHERN MACON 
  COUNTY.  

* CREEKS AND STREAMS IN SOUTHERN MACON COUNTY CAN BE EXPECTED TO 
  FLOOD...ESPECIALLY THOSE IN SOUTHWEST MACON COUNTY...INCLUDING 
  PUZZLE CREEK AND BRUSH CREEK. 

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
