* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MAHASKA COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL IOWA

  INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS...
  BEACON...FREMONT...KEOMAH VILLAGE...LEIGHTON...NEW SHARON...
  OSKALOOSA...ROSE HILL AND UNIVERSITY PARK

* UNTIL 1000 PM

* AT 358 PM...THE PUBLIC REPORTED THUNDERSTORMS WITH FLASH FLOOD
  PRODUCING RAINS IN THE WARNING AREA.

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL WILL       
  CONTINUE OVER THE NEXT ONE TO THREE HOURS. RAINFALL RATES WILL   
  AVERAGE 1 TO 3 INCHES PER HOUR. THIS WILL PRODUCE FLASH FLOODING   
  ALONG THE MUCHAKINOCK CREEK...MIDDLE CREEK...SAINT JOSEPH CREEK

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. 

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
