ASHTABULA COUNTY IN NORTHEAST OHIO... ERIE COUNTY IN NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA... * UNTIL 415 PM EDT * AT 210 PM EDT WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED...SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS HAVE CONTINUED TO FORM ALONG THE LAKESHORE FROM NEAR ERIE WEST TO AROUND ASHTABULA. RADAR INDICATES THAT UP TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN MAY HAVE OCCURRED IN SOME AREAS. REPORTS INDICATE THAT SOME ROADS ARE ALREADY SEEING SEVERAL INCHES OF WATER ON THE ROADWAY. ADDITIONAL SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WITH LOCALLY HEAVY RAIN WILL CONTINUE IN ERIE AND ASHTABULA COUNTY THROUGH 4 PM. * SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE... ASHTABULA CONNEAUT NORTH KINGSVILLE ALBION ERIE GIRARD EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.
