  DORCHESTER COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST SOUTH CAROLINA...

* UNTIL 145 PM EDT.

* AT 1213 PM EDT...RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN FALLING ACROSS
  MUCH OF NORTHERN DORCHESTER COUNTY. RADAR ESTIMATES BETWEEN
  1 AND 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN ACROSS FROM ROSINVILLE 
  AND HARLEYVILLE SOUTH THROUGH SAINT GEORGE...BYRD AND TEXAS. 
  ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN WILL OCCUR AND CAUSE FLASH FLOODING.

* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE...

AT 103 PM EDT...RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN ACROSS MUCH OF NORTHERN 
DORCHESTER COUNTY FROM ROSINVILLE TO HARLEYVILLE SOUTH TO SAINT 
GEORGE...TEXAS AND BYRD. RADAR ESTIMATES AS MUCH AS 2 TO 4 INCHES OF 
RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THESE AREAS. HEAVY RAIN IS EXPECTED TO CONTINUE 
FOR THE NEXT FEW HOURS...SO THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING WILL LIKELY 
BE EXTENDED BEYOND 145 PM.

DORCHESTER EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED FLOODING IN PROGRESS IN 
SAINT GEORGE WITH HOUSES THREATENED BY RISING FLOOD WATERS. IN 
ADDITION...THE INTERSECTION OF HIGHWAYS 453 AND 178 WAS COMPLETELY 
INUNDATED.

IF FLOODING IS OBSERVED...ACT QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO 
ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN 
WATER BEGINS RISING.
