THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN COLUMBIA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
    CLARENDON COUNTY IN CENTRAL SOUTH CAROLINA

* UNTIL 1230 PM EDT.

* AT 1020 AM EDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED FLOODING 
IN THE TOWN OF MANNING. SEVERAL ROADS WERE CLOSED IN MANNING AND IN 
OTHER RURAL PARTS OF THE COUNTY. 

RADAR ESTIMATED BETWEEN 4 AND 6 INCHES OF RAIN HAVE FALLEN OVER 
PORTIONS OF CLARENDON COUNTY SINCE 6 AM. ANOTHER 2 TO 3 INCHES OF 
RAIN IS POSSIBLE THROUGH MIDDAY. 

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING. 
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY. 
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE 
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.

REPORT ANY DAMAGING WINDS OR FLOODING TO YOUR COUNTY SHERIFF
