THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EASTERN CAMERON COUNTY IN DEEP SOUTH TEXAS

* UNTIL 200 PM CDT

* AT 1146 AM CDT...THE PUBLIC REPORTED THUNDERSTORMS WITH WITH   
  EXCESSIVE RAINFALL AND FLOODING NEAR SOUTH PADRE ISLAND AND PORT 
  ISABEL...MOVING NORTH AT 20 MPH.

* THE HEAVY RAINFALL WAS CAUSING FLASH FLOODING IN AND AROUND SOUTH 
  PADRE ISLAND. MANY ROADWAYS WERE REPORTED TO HAVE AS MUCH AS 10 
  INCHES OF WATER OVER THEM ALONG WITH DITCHES FULL OF WATER. 
  ADDITIONAL RAINFALL THROUGH 2 PM WILL WORSEN THE FLOODING.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL 
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES.
