NORTHWESTERN JIM HOGG COUNTY IN TEXAS NORTHEASTERN ZAPATA COUNTY IN TEXAS * UNTIL 915 PM CDT * AT 615 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR IN BROWNSVILLE INDICATED WIDESPREAD THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL 11 MILES NORTHWEST OF ESCOBA...OR 24 MILES NORTHEAST OF ZAPATA. THESE THUNDERESTORMS WERE NEARLY STATIONARY. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED THAT 4 TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN HAS OCCURRED OVER NORTHEASTERN ZAPATA AND EXTREME NORTHWEST JIM HOGG COUNTIES SINCE 430 PM. * THESES SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE WARNED AREA.
