* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EAST CENTRAL PARK COUNTY IN CENTRAL COLORADO
  SOUTHWESTERN DOUGLAS COUNTY IN NORTHEAST COLORADO
  SOUTHWESTERN JEFFERSON COUNTY IN NORTHEAST COLORADO

* UNTIL 515 PM MDT

* AT 312 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER CHEESMAN RESERVOIR...OR ABOUT 38 MILES
  NORTHWEST OF COLORADO SPRINGS. THE STORM PRODUCING THE HEAVY       
  RAIN WAS MOVING SOUTH AT 5 MPH OVER THE HAYMAN BURN AREA.

LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE...BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO...CHEESMAN
RESERVOIR AND DECKERS.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.

RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS
SWIFTLY FLOWING WATERS OR WATERS OF UNKNOWN DEPTH BY FOOT OR BY
AUTOMOBILE. IF YOUR VEHICLE STALLS ABANDON IT IMMEDIATELY AND SEEK
HIGHER GROUND.

DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES RAINFALL RATES OF AT LEAST ONE INCH PER HOUR 
WITH THIS STORM.  

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF CREEKS
AND STREAMS...ROADS AND ROADSIDE CULVERTS. THE HEAVY RAINS COULD ALSO
TRIGGER ROCK AND MUDSLIDES IN THE BURN AREA.
